I have recently find what seems to be a bug in the libtiff.

Is there any patch for this?

This is not a bug as such; TIFF writer software is not required to support byte orders other than the native one on which it runs.

Any TIFF compliant reader program must support both byte orders, so if you need to do this to accomodate a poorly executed implementation of TIFF, it may be more worthwhile to embarrass the original programmers of the TIFF reader to do a better job.
