Hey Ron

Are u planning to come up with new library that will replace LIBTIFF..???
What is this all about

Hey, from my side, no mistake.

I open unmmapped ( little -80Mo- and big files ), and it work fine. :-)

For my experience, "speeding up", "taylorisation" of libtiff or libjpeg, even in one particular scope, is essentialy hard work for little gain.

Less change is beautiful.
