If we need a 4.0.0 release - how long will that take? (to really feel good about it, not to just change the label).
The library has been through quite a few release cycles already over several years. Some people feel pretty good about it. It only takes an hour or two to cut a release and remove "beta" from the name.
And what is the timeframe for including it in the debian "unstable" builds? Are there any deadlines?
It seems that is up to Jay.
