Yeah, I noticed that the instruction of "Anonymous CVS" at www.libtiff.org is OBSOLETE and that the current one is available at http://www.remotesensing.org/libtiff/, which is the current libtiff home, when I read the following:

I could begin to get the source from the CVS repository at 0:51 on 30th under the instruction mentioned at the current libtiff home.
Forget about libtiff.org, it is not the libtiff home any more (we lost the domain name some time ago, search mailing list archive for details). Now our home is

Ok, I understood.
I'm happy if you modify the README document inside the source archive.
