No, I just compiled LibTIFF with 12-bit JPEG support, but had no sample pictures to try with.

It should be no problem to update the patch for arbitrary bpp values less or equal 16.

I've updated the patch attached to bug 2505 to make ppm2tiff support all bpp values from 1 to 16.
