Hello,

I had to hack an GNU autoconf check for different libtiff features

(not just for libtiff presence) when configuring the package I am
developing here. I guess it could help other people that are
subscribed here (and, maybe, it could make a good base for a autoconf
macro that could be shipped with libtiff - or just crosschecked and
submitted to GNU autoconf archive at

      http://peti.cys.de/autoconf-archive/.

I am attaching the M4 macro code to this e-mail. Any feedback is

welcome.
