Yep, this is the file. And it is definitely wrong if Peter is right about the orientation tag being supplimentary and the file should display correctly regardless.
Andrey, any idea what application is creating these images? I'm hoping it is some custom app and so there will not be lots of files like this in the world.
The file in question here is, I believe, a file I got from someone on this list about 9-12 months ago to test out ycc support. The file is a satellite picture of the san francisco bay area and is ycc and tiled and about 893 KB.
Does that file sound familiar to anybody on this list? I'd like to find out the app creator since it is not generating the file correctly.
Do you speak about this images: http://www.ai.sri.com/cgi-bin/digitalearth/list.pl?dir=sfbay.oi
It is important to finally determine order of reading lines in bottom-left orientation. I think that the first line of the first tile of the bottom-left oriented image should be last line in the rendered image. TIFFGetRGBAImage() function in the latest libtiff works in such way (and above images rendered correctly). Is it right?
