GitLab used to be free and unlimited for free software projects but now the free offering is much more limited.

A very useful feature of GitLab is "CI pipeline minutes" which provides access to compute/test resources in order to make sure that submitted libtiff changesets work as expected on different types of computers.

It appears that anyone with a GitLab account is able to purchase CI pipeline minutes for the project. CI pipeline minutes are only used after the free monthly quota is used up so they will only be used if libtiff developers have been particularly industrious during a month (such as they have been this month).

The URL to purchase pipeline minutes is at

https://gitlab.com/-/subscriptions/buy_minutes?selected_group=2221836

If you have never contributed to the libtiff project before, but libtiff is important to you, then this is a useful way to contribute.
