I think I need to tell you guys more what I'm looking for. I most want a tool (programmer's toolkit or standalone) to convert 1,000's of these JPG TIFF's to group4 format. (Of course the faster the better) As a _distant_ second option, a tool that could be used in a VB based viewer to display the image on screen.

I have tried 6 or 7 graphic tools and none worked.

PS. A standalone conversion program could be Unix or Wintel.

I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you're asking here. If you just need a convenient way to do a one-shot conversion of a few files like this, ONE program that has no trouble with it is Thorstein Lemke's wonderful Mac GraphicConverter shareware, http://www.lemkesoft.com.

Enclosed please find an uncompressed version.
