Slightly, OT...

has anyone here had any success using TortoiseCVS with the LibTiff site?

i've tried a bunch of things and can't get past the authentication stuff...

         -c

This does lead to another question, though. Is there a site where I can find nightly tarballs of the CVS? The netadminazis at my office have blocked the port used by cvs for password authentication. If there is no tarball, I'll have to grab the cvs from home tonight.

I am not aware of any place which offers nightly tarballs.

If you were willing to circumvent the system, I expect that you could get around the netadminazis by exploiting an existing HTTP proxy. That might not be good for continued employment though.
