Leonard, could you pass me Shantanu Narayen's email or contact info? I'd like to speak with him, and I'm quite willing to fly to San Jose to get these registries sorted out, and to find out why Adobe seems unwilling to support their own format or to acknowledge that they might not be willing. TIFF is a major format, and committed maintenance of the format is an important issue for many of us.

Or if Adobe could grant us a chunk of e.g. 1000 tags, we could manage their usage and standardisation ourselves.

I just submitted a changeset such that COMPRESSION_ZSTD is changed to 50000 and COMPRESSION_WEBP is changed to 50001.
