Yes, but tiffcp is by far the most significant case. And perhaps one of the most used of the tools. I may not be impartial on this, though :-) because I use it heavily.

It seems that since you have started, you should now be commited to this task and complete it. For example, others may be fond of 'tiffcrop', which provides similar options.

The issue occurs mainly with lzma2, zstd, and webp, which are not commonly accepted compression formats for tiff files. The other tools refer mainly to lzw, zip, packbits, and jpeg, which are pretty standard and usually built with libtiff "by default". So, tiffcp was in fact the most "boring" case.

It seems like the scope is reasonably limited. Now that you have brought it up, it seems reasonable to implement changes to the few other utilities which provide the extra compression options (which might be just tiffcrop) and submit a changset. :-)
