Hi,

I am new to libtiff and I want to cross compile this library so as to use it for my embedded device.

My HOST is a PC running Ubuntu 10.10, and my target is a PowerPC based device running embedded Linux. I am wondering if how to cross compile the downloaded tiff-4.0.0 library to my target.

Is there any document telling how to adjust for such cross compiling for PowerPC or ARM based embedded system?

Any suggestions are highly appreciated!
