Hello!

How does one set and get custom metadata using libtiff? I've searched the internet for a while, but the resources are scarce. I've managed to set and get non-ASCII tags using the obsolete custom tag interface (TIFFMergeFieldInfo and the such), but I've had trouble getting the new interface to work (not sure what the new interface actually *is*), and I've had no luck with ASCII values in the old interface.

Any help is appreciated.
