If you get Eastman Software Imaging Professional 2.6 which is very similar to Wang Imaging you can read the JFIF files (*.jpg) and write TIFF files with JPEG compression either following an interpretation of the TIFF JPEG format in the TIFF 6.0 specification or following the TIFF 6.0 Technical Note #2 format.
