Sorry this has taken so long…

Apparently there were some seriously security problems with the old method of registration which was why it was taken down. At this time, we aren’t 100% sure if/when we will be able to put a fully automated system back in place. That said, we have a proposal.

Short term – I will work with Kemp and others to review the libTIFF code vs. the registry and get any missing tags into the registry (and flag any conflicts, if they exist).

Long term – I’d like to work with this community to setup a github-based process similar to what I built for managing PDF names (https://github.com/adobe/pdf-names-list).
