So specifically:
- It says "C". Does that mean "C99", as in --std=c99, or something else?
- It says "optionally C++". Does that mean C++03?
If this is really C99/C++03, then I suspect there is no actual practical problem at all.
I am just leery of assuming as I have seen many projects require C++NN for an NN that is newer than the base system compiler supports on systems that many are still using.
