To Sam, and the rest of the list, a modest suggestion: www.findmail.com offers a free, advertising-based list archiving service. They claim to disguise email addresses to fight spam, to remove messages upon request, and to honor the 'X-No-Archive: Yes' mail header.
How reputable they are, I can't say.
