I've added the following SGML man pages to gnome-docu/gdp/contrib/manpages in GNOME CVS:

and don't see any of mentioned pages. Are you sure you have commited them in? Or I'm using wrong repository?

yes, the files are in CVS alright -- I just checked them out again to be sure.

You are using the correct repository, but I'm not sure whether you need the "anon" after the "@" sign -- perhaps you could try the following instead:

:pserver:anonymous@cvs.gnome.org:/cvs/gnome
