Hello

I'm new to this list and hope that it is alive, because the archive I've found at ftp://sgi.com/graphics/tiff/archive is more than 3 years old.

I've found a problem when loading TIFF files via ImLib (available at ftp://ftp.labs.redhat.com/pub/imlib/TAR/Imlib-1.1.tar.gz). The first row of a TIFF image seems to be complete random. The author of ImLib told me that it is an TIFFlib problem and reported the problem to the authors of TIFFlib. He told me that they (sorry, I don't know the name of the guys he contacted) wanted him to report the problem to the TIFFlib list. But he hasn't time to do that and so do I.

So far to the introduction. Is it a known problem that the first row is scrambled (in some circumstances??) or may it result from a mistake when using the routines. If not, I will try to send some code snippets or try to involve some deeper.

Regards

Andreas.
