Hi libtiff developers,

We reported a bug in libtiff 4.0.9 in January (reference thread "Unable to write inkName - libTiff 4.0.9" from 1/22/2019. We also see this in 4.0.10.

We included a standalone C repro code (outside of MATLAB) that reproduces the problem in the original thread.

Can you please let us know if you plan to take action on this? Our MATLAB TIFF interface supports this tag, and it is currently throwing an error from the libtiff library when writing InkNames with PhotometricInterpretation = Separated and ExtraSamples = Unspecified.
