Every time my code calls TIFFOpen(), I get an access violation when debugging in MSVC 6 sp 5 (no processor pack) This doesn't happen when I link in 3.5.7 lib file instead. Anyone else encounter this behavior?

How your library was compiled? It is important to have the same linking options when compiling the library and your application.
