Andrey,

I keep getting errors either during the ./configure or, if that succeeds, during the make that complain about unexpected end of file while searching for a matching quote or sometimes matching double quote.

I can't give you the exact error right now, though. I cannot get to the CVS from my office and thus can only use the release version unless I bring in my own cvs tarball. (There isn't any way to get a nightly cvs tarball linked to the project webpage, is there?)

I will try to provide more information in a couple hours.

Thanks,
Thom

OBTW, this is what I get from uname -a:

CYGWIN_NT-5.0 CTS1-215 1.5.13(0.122/4/2) 2004-03-01 11:01 i686 unknown unknown Cygwin

Has anyone been able to solve this? I've been looking at it in the 3.7.2 release and cannot get anywhere. And the CVS version won't even configure properly.

Thom,

I just tried current CVS snapshot under Cygwin and it works fine (./configure; make; make check). What configure problem do you have?

$ uname -a

CYGWIN_NT-5.0 rose 1.5.9(0.112/4/2) 2004-03-18 23:05 i686 unknown unknown Cygwin

(quite outdated, I know).
